Carl and Sandra, the owners of The Coylet Inn since 2020, have a long standing love for the place. Carl first came to visit the area over 30 years ago with his friends. Rarely, did he miss a year, making the trip to visit the Cowal peninsula from Derbyshire in The Midlands for their annual visit.

Carl very nearly took ownership of The Coylet some years ago, but it wasn't to be. However, the enchantment of The Coylet never really left him and when the opportunity came up again,  it was something he just had to do. He hasn't looked back since they opened the doors on 14th August, 2020. 

 

Sandra, of course shares Carl's love of The Coylet and says ' I  love everything about The Coylet , from it's amazing history of almost 400 years, even it's ghosts to it's endless character and beauty. It's like having a small child, I don't like to leave it on it's own, but we are fortunate to have such an amazing team. They really are key to making The Coylet's cogs turn once again and I love them all for caring and making it the success it is.
